IDATB Wesley Chapel Clinic

Wesley Chapel, Florida

After a successful completion of the Tampa clinic, LDCi was commissioned to design the Infectious Disease Associates of Tampa Bay’s Wesley Chapel clinic. The existing space was a commercial building constructed in the 1980s which featured a large atrium and a modern design with a lot of angles. LDCi’s job was to convert this outdated space into a medical clinic of today. LDCi brought the lobby to life by accenting the atrium with floating cloud ceilings and Moooi pendant lighting. The lobby also features back-painted glass walls which gives the space a clean and sophisticated look. To help achieve a calm environment for the clinic’s patients, a lounge and fountain were added to the outside space. Close collaboration between the general contractor Rañon, the Infectious Disease Associates of Tampa Bay and LDCi was the key to transforming this space into a welcoming environment for patients. The interior architecture and interior design elements were created to allow light and views for patients, bringing the exterior sense of space and calm to the interior. Translucent glass and color changing LED lighting were used in the Infusion Suite to provide for visual interest and calming effects.
