Bayfront Health 16th Street

St. Petersburg, Florida

LDCi Architects was commissioned by Bayfront Medical Center to study and test different sites for a new outpatient clinic. The site selected was a 1980s one-story office building with high ceiling and clerestory windows. The LDCi design team, led by Daniel Roark, took advantage of these features to bring in light and spaciousness in support of wellness and patient satisfaction. LDCi’s job was to convert this outdated 6,000-square-foot space into an efficient primary care clinic of today. LDCi brought the interior clinical areas to life by incorporating the existing tall ceilings and glass clerestory windows. The finish palate was selected to be bright and elegant with durable materials. Close collaboration between the general contractor ABI Companies, the Bayfront Clinical team and LDCi Architects was the key to transforming this space into a welcoming environment for patients.
