LDCi was the architect of record for the Infectious Disease Association of Tampa Bay’s Tampa clinic. LDCi worked closely with Dr. Margarita Cabrera-Cancio to turn a 7,000 square foot, 1-story shell building into a fully-outfitted clinical space.
It was important to make the patient’s experience as comfortable as possible. This was achieved by making exams rooms include exterior views with natural light. In addition, LDCi created an infusion suite because patients prefer receiving treatment in a group setting. Dr. Cabrera- Cancio envisioned a space that felt well taken care of and comfortable, like a fine hotel more than a doctor’s office. This was achieved through specific selection of colors, materials and furniture throughout the clinic.
