Moffitt Cancer Center Infusion Patient Lounge

Providing interior architecture and design services, LDCi worked with Moffitt Cancer Center to transform a crowded and brightly-colored waiting room into a calming and elegant patient lounge. In creating the new design for the 2,500 square-foot space, LDCi worked with stakeholders, design engineers and furniture manufacturers and dealerships to detail all aspects of the project, from new technology to construction phasing. The space now features different activity zones for reading, table puzzles, TV viewing and literature displays. LDCi also incorporated table lamps, charging stations and draperies to add to the comfort for patients and families having to spend long periods of time in the space.
