Antonio J. Amadeo
Antonio J. Amadeo is a professional with 28 years dedicated experience in health care design including serving as Director of Facilities Design and Development for Tampa General Hospital, a 1,040 bed private not-for-profit hospital in West Central Florida. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Masters Degree of Architecture from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. He holds a board certification with the American College of Health Care Architects (ACHA) and is only one of 32 architects in the State of Florida and 482 in North America with this health care specialty certification.
Mr. Amadeo is a past president of AIA Tampa Bay Chapter and AIA Academy of Architecture for Health AAH/AIA Tampa Bay Chapter. In 2019 he received the Medal of Honor, the highest and most prestigious award given by the AIA Tampa Bay Chapter, for contributions above self to the profession and the community.
Mr. Amadeo is the CEO/President of LDC International, Inc., founded in 2002, provides architectural and interior design services. LDCI is a State of Florida Minority Business Enterprise. Mr. Amadeo has served as an architect of record on many projects and as consultant at Moffitt Cancer Center since 2004.
Mr. Amadeo was appointed to the City of Tampa’s Architectural Review Commission in 1999, serving through 2007, and the City of Tampa’s Variance Review Board 2007- 2017. In addition, Mr. Amadeo served as an appointed member by the BOCC to the Hillsborough County Public Art Commission from 1999-2010. He is active in leadership positions in his community, serving on the Davis Islands Civic Association as Traffic & Safety Chair and board member of The Brandon Community Advantage Center.
